“Hall of Fame Games” Official Rules
Field Rules
1. Tobacco Free, Alcohol Free, Drug Free, Weapon Free Zone (This includes your sword Rusty).
2. No cursing
3. Don’t go in the house unless you ask.
4. No gloves of any kind, no stick-em, and no grips on bats.
5. Only Official, non-altered, Wiffle Brand Balls & Bats allowed.
Tournament Setup
1. The tournament will consist of a double elimination style of play.
Field Setup
1. First and third base will be placed 40 feet.
2. Front rubber will be placed 35 feet from home.
3. Back rubber will be placed 45 feet from home.
4. Singles line will be 30 feet from home.
5. Doubles line will be 55 feet from home.
6. Triples line will be 80 feet from home.
7. Home runs are over the fence and over the barn.
Game Play
1. Players do not run bases in this style of play
2. Games will consist of 4 innings unless a team leads by 10 runs after 3 innings.
3. 3 strikes = out
4. 4 balls = walk
5. Outs can be recorded by either strikeout, hitting ball less than 30 feet, or being caught out by a defender
6. Balls are judged fair or foul like real baseball rules.
7. 3 outs per inning
8. Teams begin the game with 1 challenge. They can challenge any ruling made on the field.
a. If after review, the ruling on the field is confirmed, the team will lose challenge.
b. If any other result, call reversed or call stands, the team will retain the challenge.
9. The single, double, and triple line constitute being in the respective zone. Thus a ball hitting single line is a single, hitting double line is double, triple line is triple.
10. Base runners will advance the same amount of bases as the batter.
11. All fielders must begin in fair territory and behind the single line.
12. 3 players per team.
Batting Rules
1. After 4 balls, the batter and only the batter has the option to reset count without taking walk. (First choice will stand as final unless other team allows them to change mind).
2. Batter cannot lean into pitch
a. If the batter does lean into pitch, the pitcher can appeal to the official seated at the Official’s Table, where that official makes final call on if it is a strike or a ball

1. A player may not pitch more than 5 innings in consecutive games.
2. Speed of pitch can be measured with radar gun if the batting team requests for measurement at Official’s Table (Pitcher will be notified he is on the gun).
b. Speed limit from front rubber is 42 mph as determined by radar gun.
i. A pitch in 43-45 mph range that results in a strike will be ruled no pitch
ii. All pitches over 45 mph will be ruled a ball
c. There is no speed limit from back rubber.
